Crocheted Circle

Here’s my fun little crocheted circle pattern that I use for my morning cup of tea!!  Hope you enjoy and find many different uses for your completed circle.

Begin with 10 CH stitches, join with a SL stitch to form circle, CH 3 (counts as 1 DC)

Rnd 1:  do 11 DC within the center of your circle for a total of 12 DC, join with SL stitch in top of 3rd beginning CH,     CH 1

Rnd 2:  2 SC in each DC (24 SC),  join with SL stitch in beginning CH 1,   CH 2 (counts as 1 DC)

Rnd 3:  1 DC in same CH stitch, 1 DC in next stitch, *2 DC in next stitch, 1 DC in next stitch, continue from * around, join with SL stitch into top of beginning CH 2, (36 stitches)  CH 1

Rnd 4:  1 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next stitch, 2 SC in next stitch, * 1 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next stitch, 2 SC in next stitch,  continue from * around, join with SL stitch into beginning CH 1 (48 stitches),  CH 1

Rnd 5:  1 SC in next stitch, 1 DC in next stitch, *1 SC in next stitch, 1 DC in next stitch, continue from * to end of round.  Fasten Off!!
